About SummThings™
SummThings is a research experiment which tested out the concept of an information Summary Thing (Summ Thing). A SummThing is a concise summary of information covering a specific topic. This summary is made up of 2 things:
- Selective references to supporting information found elsewhere on the internet
- Editorial content which ties these references into a short, consolidated, simple, how-to format which you can make use of immediately
Keep in mind that each SummThing may contain other links but if you are not that good at filtering out the noise or you don't have the time to filter out what is noise then a SummThing can help.
The 2006 phase of this experiement is completed but click on the links to the upper left to view some of the SummThings which were generated and used as part of the Wave50 project.
Also, quite a few very good Answer sites have emerged since undertaking this project and I will from time to time include them on this page.
